Flooring installation includes the details beneath and around the floor

LVP and laminate installation

We install LVP and laminate with floor preparation, transitions and baseboard work as included in the scope. Worn finishes, inconsistent room-to-room flooring and difficult transitions are common reasons to plan an update. For tile floors, see our tile installation service.

Assess the base before installation

Photos can show the current floor, but an on-site review may be needed to understand uneven areas or concealed conditions. Removal, subfloor preparation and any repair should be identified separately. New planks will not correct an unsuitable base.

Plan layout and room connections

Discuss plank direction, thresholds, door clearance and baseboards. Preparation precedes installation, then transitions and finish details complete the perimeter. Product requirements determine expansion space, installation method and any conditioning period.

What affects the estimate

Area, removal, floor preparation, occupied rooms and the number of transitions influence the scope. Material delivery and preparation can affect duration more than the plank installation itself. Confirm what furniture needs to be moved and who will move it.

Questions about this work

Can new LVP go over the old floor?

It depends on the existing floor and the selected product requirements. The base must be suitable and floor height must work at doors and transitions; send photos rather than assuming removal can be skipped.

Will baseboards need to be removed?

Discuss the perimeter finish before installation. Reusing, replacing or working around existing baseboards produces different finish details and costs.

How much flooring should I buy?

Confirm measured area, layout and waste allowance before ordering. The allowance varies with room shape and pattern; also discuss spare material for future repairs.

Flooring Installation in Seattle and Surrounding Areas

Remodel Tsaruk LLC provides residential flooring installation services throughout Seattle and nearby communities. We work with LVP, laminate, engineered flooring, transitions, baseboards, and other finish details needed to complete the room.

Proper floor preparation is one of the most important parts of a successful flooring project. Before installation, we review the existing surface, identify uneven areas, remove damaged materials when needed, and prepare the subfloor so the new flooring can be installed cleanly and securely.

LVP, Laminate and Finish Work

We install flooring in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, basements, and other residential spaces. Depending on the project, our work can include demolition, floor preparation, underlayment, plank installation, transitions, trim, baseboards, and final detail work.

Our focus is on straight layouts, clean cuts, consistent spacing, and professional transitions between rooms and materials. We also help with repairs and replacement of damaged flooring areas when a full floor replacement is not necessary.
