Typical Remodeling Project Sequence

Many delays happen because trades are scheduled in the wrong order. A coordinated sequence helps protect finished work and keeps each stage ready for the next.

Demolition and investigation

Remove what needs to come out, expose problem areas and confirm conditions before covering them again.

Framing and rough work

Complete framing changes and rough mechanical work before insulation and drywall.

Drywall and surface preparation

Hang, tape, mud, sand, texture or skim as required, then prime so the space is ready for finish work.

Finish installations

Tile, cabinets, flooring, trim, paint, doors, fixtures and final touch-ups are sequenced to protect completed surfaces.
