What the work should include
We count the damaged locations and review whether the panel surface or internal support is affected. Repairs may include filling, sealing damaged paper where appropriate, patching openings and finishing the surface. The new use of the wall should be clear before backing or old supports are removed.
Choices to make before work starts
If another fixture will be installed nearby, coordinate its mounting needs before the finish stage. Discuss texture matching and whether the complete wall will be painted. An older paint can make a cluster of technically sound patches remain visible.
What affects the estimate and schedule
Hole size, torn facing and the number of separate areas affect time. Photograph the removed fixture area and show what will replace it, if anything.
